Job Description:
Large well established bakery manufacturer is looking for an
Maintenance Mgr. Offering competitive salary (commensurate on
experience and qualifications) and benefits. Must have tunnel oven

add'l information below.--Job Summary:The Maintenance Manager is
responsible for leading, developing, managing and executing all
aspects for maintenance with customers, suppliers, local and
corporate-wide employees and the manufacturing staff.-- The
incumbent is also responsible for the supervising, training and
mentoring members of the Maintenance department.-- This position
exists to ensure the production equipment is properly maintained in
order to produce and package all products.--This snack foods
operation is on three 8-hour shifts, running a total of 28
packaging lines with 13 large commercial bakery ovens.-- The
Maintenance department consists of 80 maintenance technicians, 3
maintenance mechanic supervisors, 1 line machine supervisor, 1 MRO
supervisor, 1 facility tech support supervisor, 1 automation
engineer, 1 planner, and 1 PLC technician.-- There are around 1,100

Duties:Duties may include, but are not limited to the
following:Responsible for leading, developing, managing and
executing all aspects for maintenance with customers, suppliers,
local and corporate-wide employees and the manufacturing
staff.Responsible for the creation and delivery of all key
performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives for the Maintenance
department.Responsible for maintaining key equipment parts
inventory, managing the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program,
managing the Work Order system and managing the overall day-to-day
activities of the Maintenance department.Develop, maintain and
continuously improve on all standard operating procedures as they
relate to our maintenance programs (predictive and preventative) to
meet all company and customer requirements.Evaluate the performance
of direct reports against their job requirements and performance
goals.May require partnering with corporate regarding corporate
programs and best practices.Maintain a safety, sanitation and GMP
awareness within the department.--Competencies &
Knowledge:--Knowledge of:--Procurement, products and production
processesKnowledge and experience with EAM and SAPKnowledge of OSHA
regulations and standards--Skill in:-- Demonstrated proficiency in
a multi-craft maintenance role and continuous improvementis
required. Experience in PLC programming necessary.Demonstrated
proficiency in developing both predictive and preventative
maintenance programs.Maintaining harmonious relationships and
effectively communicating with all customers, suppliers, local and
corporate-wide employees and manufacturing staff.--Ability
to:----Be detailed-oriented, have strong self-confidence and
leadership skills and have excellent oral and written communication
skills.--Proficiency in:---- MS Office Suite, EAM and SAP--Work
Environment:Work is primarily done in an office setting.Infrequent
production environment exposure, which includes noise, dust, moving
machinery, fork lifts and fluctuations in temperature.Personal

business/technical-related field is required.Five (5) - Seven (7)
years of related work experience, including experience managing and
leading a Maintenance department in the Snack Foods or Bakery
industry.Experience working with large commercial bakery ovens a
must.Intricate knowledge of equipment and processes, broad
background and great mechanical knowledge. Several generations of
equipment are used, from battery powered to PLC equipment.Familiar
with PLC jargon; PLC troubleshooting a plus.Experience with
automation projects, line improvement projectsExperience with
facility maintenance.Exposure and understanding of Continuous
Improvement; certification not required.Management experience with
reliability initiatives.Experience with root cause, predictive
actions, and preventative actions.Extremely good time management
skills.Basic electrical & HVAC
