Spouses and children scholarship opportunities (through the Ohio Machinery Education and Opportunity Foundation), and many others.JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: Troubleshoot and repair general agricultural equipment drive-train components, and electrical and hydraulic systems as well as perform normal machine repair in a safe manner, in the field, on customers' job sites, and/or in our service shops.Agriculture equipment and machinery service/repair knowledge required. A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.Possess superior diagnosis and mechanical skills and abilities.Proven desire and ability to present strong customer service skillsAbility to complete service and all necessary documentation and follow up as required in a timely, orderly manner.Follow all Ohio Machinery's policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Must use all safety equipment necessary for the job.Possess and demonstrate the ability to learn and apply new knowledge.Must own and be able to safely use personal mechanic's tools. Must have the ability to effectively use computers.JOB QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate minimum, Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school preferred. Valid Commercial Driver's License with an acceptable driving record in accordance with Ohio Machinery standards (4 or fewer moving violation points).PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Lifting/Carrying 40 lb. Lift/Carry and 50lb pullingStanding/Sitting Up and down stairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machinesDexterity Normal. Repetitive Motions Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers.
