The primary site of inpatient care services is at the University of Toledo Medical Center, but many of our physicians practice at hospitals and medical offices throughout the region.University of Toledo Physicians offers competitive pay and benefits including 403B, Pension, health, and tuition waiver at UT.POSITION DESCRIPTIONResponsible for preparation of the financial statements and other financial analyses.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND ACCOUNTABILITIESPrepare and/or review monthly financial statements and account schedules for management and department review.Prepare and/or review clinic financial statements and operations analyses for management.Respond to physicians' requests for collections, charges, incentive projections, and breakeven analysis.Provide ad hoc analysis as requested by management utilizing various data sources and systems including Athena Analytics.Manage FRx reporting system and write reports for the Finance department.Review, design, and implement processes for the annual budgeting process.Assist with annual audits and prepare schedules requested by auditors.Adhere to financial procedures to ensure proper posting to the ledger according to current practice and GAAP.Adheres to the workflow design established for the department and meets all job performance standards.Perform other duties as assigned.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation:Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Skills:Experience in Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility to work under pressure and be able to analyze dataReport informationExcellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational skillsThe ability to work in a team environment with shared responsibilities is criticalPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSEducation:Certified Public Accountant - CPA or Master's Business Administration - MBAExperienceSix or more years of experience in accounting, finance, or related field.
