Job Description:

Findlay Warehousing is a smaller family owned warehouse and logistics business looking to add another person to our team. We strive to provide excellent customer service along with offering a good atmosphere to our employees. We've continued to grow and would like to find someone looking to grow with us!


Our forklift operators are the heart of our operation, without them we wouldn't be able to move product in and out of our warehouses. They possess the skills and know-how to get the job done.


*Primary Job Duties*


* Loading and unloading semi trailers either as an individual or at times in a teamwork needed situation.

* Placing and removing pallets from high bay racking.

* Office skills or the ability to learn an office setting to manage orders and bill of ladings (if interested but not required).

* Completing shipping and receiving manifests as needed by the customer.

* Checking drivers in and out.

* Ability to fill in at moments notice on overtime requests a plus.

* Possible rework, physical handling of product.

* Equipment pre-trip inspection and reporting.

* Housekeeping / food grade compliance.

* May be asked to work at any or all of our facilities.

* Weekend work, one shift, will be required based on scheduling and workload.


*Requirements:*


* 1 year of forklift experience or willingness to learn

* Racking experience with sit down or stand up forklift

* Basic knowledge of how to use a barcode scanner

* Basic knowledge of how to use a smartphone/tablet


*Job Type: Full-time*


*Pay:*


First 30 days, $17/hr. Increase to $18/hr after initial evaluation and if you had perfect attendance for the first 30 days, you will receive a bonus for that time period. Pay periods are weekly.

* *Mid Shift Monday - Friday 10am - 6:30pm*


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

* Findlay, OH: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

* Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
