Quality Assurance Technician - 3rd Shift (9 pm to 7 am)

Description:Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description - other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.Perform inspection processes.Work with production associates to improve processes and measurement methods.Perform metallurgical testing.Assist with the development of product acceptance criteria and inspection process improvement.Develop and/or enhance documented procedures to improve quality and production processes.Assist with training personnel in quality procedures, inspection and testing methods.Assist with calibration of gages and other inspection equipment.Requirements:Associate degree in manufacturing; quality engineering disciplines or an equivalent combination of education and 3(+) years of experience in a manufacturing quality position required.In-depth knowledge of quality tools and methods.Demonstrated proficiency in manufacturing inspection and analysis methods.Understanding of quality processes and ISO 9001/14001 standards.Familiar with calibration methods.Knowledge of metallurgical processes, micrographic preparation and analysis a plus.Ability to initiate problem solving activities to ensure team success.Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office software.Tsubaki is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Minorities/Females/Veterans/DisabilityPM21PI207606917
