Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and
responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this
job description - other tasks may be assigned and expected to be
performed.Updates the priority list / work direction as needed for
Inspection personnel to ensure coverage of daily production needs.
Ensures the performance of Quality Assurance functions is conducted
in the most efficient manner required to reduce overtime costs.
Looks for opportunities to eliminate non-value-added operations /
improve process efficiencies.Is responsible for the scheduling of
Calibration of measuring instruments and test machinery.Maintains
inventory of consumables required for the execution of quality
assurance tasks such as, but not limited to Batteries, gloves,
abrasives, measuring devices, etc.Assists with maintaining the HOLD
area and control of non-conforming materials and works closely with
the Quality Manager to ensure efficient disposition of suspect
product.Coordinates production activities in conjunction with
process changes and testing needs.Works directly with manufacturing
personnel to improve product quality. This responsibility includes
support for team efforts directed by Corrective Actions and
Continuous Improvement Initiatives. Attends daily Production
meetings in the Quality Manager's absence to communicate with team
and respond to quality issues. Makes suggestions to reduce
non-conformances and eliminate sorting/rework. Coordinates
resources required to address quality concerns.May assist the
Quality Manager with the completion of disciplinary notices and
documentation when required.Assists with the development of plans
to improve quality and efficiency, of production, hence reducing
costs. Supports factory safety team and monitors working conditions
to ensure safe environment. Responds to safety related issues as
required.Works as Quality Assurance Technician as required to
fulfill production needs and or coverage for vacations within the
Quality Assurance department.Conducts internal audits. Other tasks,
projects, duties as assigned.Requirements:Associate Degree or 5
years' experience in Quality Assurance preferred.1-3 years
supervisory experience preferred.U.S. Tsubaki offers a competitive
