Description :This is an exciting growth opportunity for an
experienced architect to join one of the best consulting firms in
the country. The Staff Architect will work as part of a team
responsible for the development of production drawings from
schematics through construction document phases on a variety of
construction projects within the Industrial Market Sector,
including but not limited to Automotive, Chemical, Conglomerates,
Life Science, and Oil & Gas.Role accountabilities:Communicating
design ideas through the use of sketches, and computer design tools
such as 3D modeling in REVIT, Additional skill set in these
software platforms is a plus: Lumion, Dynamo, & AutoCADDeveloping
designs in coordination with design leader requirements,
specifications, and goals.Generating technical drawings,
consolidate details from different sources, and develop plan,
section, elevation, detail, and schedule drawingsCoordinating with
other disciplines (CIVL, STRU, MECH, ELEC, PLMB, FLS, etc.) to
provide an integrated project delivery.Generating CSI MasterSpec
specificationsBuilding Code AnalysisWorking with Project Manager
and/or Project Architect to prepare presentations and produce
documents through to the construction phaseAssisting the project
team during the construction phase by
reviewing/processing/approving shop drawings and submitted material
samples and responding to RFI'sRequired Qualifications:5 to 10
years of facility design experience.2 to 3 years of experience in
BIM modeling and architectural documentation.Key Skills and
Attributes:Excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
ability to communicate effectively as part of a team and
prepare/develop technical documents.Ability to travel periodically
(Proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, and other design
softwareProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite specifically: MS
Teams, MS SharePoint, MS Word, MS Excel, & MS
PowerPoint.)Experience in development and willingness to support
BIM standards and SOPs.Preferred Qualifications:A Bachelor of
Architecture degreeAn NCARB record on file or a completion
certificate of the IDP ProgramExperience with industrial and
commercial facilities design and constructionLicensed Registered
Architect (RA) or currently pursuing their professional
licensurePermitting and AHJ Plans Examination experience.Experience
in Maximum Allowable Quantity (MAQ) AnalysisProficient in component
Detailing including interior fit & finishes, doors & door hardware,
building envelope, & roofing. Etc.)LEED AP or BREEAM
