Scope of Service:

The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care provided to a group of patients. - This nurse leads the nursing team members in the care as directed by the attending physician and in collaboration with other health care providers in accordance with the philosophy and policies of ProMedica Acute Care Hospitals. - Actively participates in the creation of an environment that fosters patient, family, physician and employee satisfaction. - -Ensures decisions made are based on patient and family centered care philosophy utilizing evidenced based practices, and focused on safety, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes.

*Candidates must be external -and have at least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience -to be eligible for the Sign-on Bonus.

  • Chronic Heart Failure, Myocardial Infarction, Atrial and Ventricular Arrhythmias, Pre and post Stent, PPM Insertion, and ICD Insertion. -
    
  • This unit also takes intermediate overflow patients as needed. -

    ::Position Requirements:
    
    
    • 
      
    • Graduate of an accredited nursing school. - BSN preferred
      
    • Current State license as a Registered Nurse
      
    • 1 year of experience as an RN
      
    • Current CPR / BLS Certification
      
    • Specialty certifications as required for the department
      
      • 
        
      • **RNs for this unit will be required to obtain ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) Certification if -not already obtained
