Preparation, production, and cleaning are also key aspects.**The below description describes the key job responsibilities of a level 1 Deli Clerk. If you are 18 years of age or older and/or have experience working in a Deli Department or similar, you may be tasked with additional/higher level responsibilities**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:* Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers promptly, answering questions, and assisting with purchases* Package, wrap, price, and merchandise Deli Department products* Maintain product knowledge of deli case items: cold salads, dips, lunchmeats, cheeses, etc.* Properly date items, check dates on all products to ensure freshness, and properly rotate stock* Maintain general sanitation practices, food safety practices, and food storage practices according to store and health department standards. Cleaning duties include sweeping, mopping, cleaning surfaces, washing dishes, and more.* Prepare some cold salads, dips, and grab-n-go items, including but not limited to: pasta salads, potato salads, coleslaw, tuna salad, grab-n-go pizzas, lettuce salads, sandwiches, wraps, and dipsWe Offer:* Become a WCM Owner!
