Job Description

In this role you will help to control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying and reconciling invoices in a fast-paced environment while also helping our team find ways to improve processes.

This can be a hybrid role (in office on Wednesdays) based out of our Maumee, OH location.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Work independently processing invoices, check requests, expense reports, wire transfers, ACH and payment runs.
• Prioritize the prompt payment of discount vendors to ensure Therma-Tru capitalizes on all available payment discounts.
• Manage assigned vendor relationships. This includes but may not be limited to:
  • Vendor inquiries
  • Vendor credits and DMR's
  • Vendor maintenance
  • Credit apps and/or tax exemption requests
  • Updates to tracking tools such as BOX folders or tracking spreadsheets
  • Gather information for sales & use tax return according to state requirements
  • Process sales & use tax payments
  • Create month ending Accounts Payable accrual entry to ensure expenses are accurately captured in the correct accounting period per GAAP.
  • Assist Sr. A/P Specialist with research of Received Not Invoiced A/P Summary Qualifications
    
    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
    • 5+ years of recent experience in Accounts Payable
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and Outlook PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
      • Associates Degree in Accounting
      • Knowledge of E21, Great Plains, Oracle Cloud Financials, or similar accounts payable software
