Their 60 person and 50 machine shop specialize in a wide range of machines including 3-5 axis mill, turning center, VTL, grinder, and more. Due to company-wide growth (and plans to purchase more machines before the end of the year), they are looking for a dedicated machinist with a passion for learning and progressing their career. This is a great opportunity to enhance your skill set by getting hands on with programming on MasterCAM. In this role, you can expect to cross train on different machines while focusing on programming new parts. This is a 1 st shift position from 6 - 2:30 PM offering overtime if desired (the goal is to maintain a strong work/life balance). Their robust benefits include:

  • Perform programming of parts on different machines using MasterCAM
  • Perform set up and operation of parts
  • First article inspectionsQualifications
    • 2+ years of setup and operating knowledge of various Mori, Doosan, Toyoda and other machines
    • CAD/CAM programming skills (MasterCAM) is a plus!
    • Experience with tight tolerances
    • GT&T
    • Use of measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.
