Responsibility:

Manager – this role is responsible for managing the work schedules, performance and productivity of volunteers and guests. They also would interact with ministry collaboraters.

Purpose: The Manager of Exit Strategy provides support and follow-up as a guest is pursuing and implementing their exit plan strategy. As a part of the support team, this role will oversee, document, and continue to provide connection to necessary resources as guests’ reach relational sustainability in the community. The role is one of advocacy and data tracking while developing and sustaining community connections. To provide post exit follow-up for all guests.

Essential Functions:

Manage and assist in connecting guests to housing availability, income connection, and community resources in alignment with their exit plan strategy and follow-up post-exit to determine outcome of community reengagement sustainability.

Participate with staff, volunteers, and community collaborators as a team on life development plans and assisting guest in assuring areas are addressed in regard to housing, income, and support system.

Oversee opportunities available for guests to ensure that the unique needs are addressed before exiting.

Provide mentorship and support as guest is implementing their strategic exit plan.

Ensure completion of all required documentation standards including, but not limited to data tracking follow-up for QAQC tracking.

Ensure guest safety and collaborate with coworkers to maintain an environment that is positive, respectful, clean and redemptive.

Be a physical resource coordinator for move to housing.

Develop, manage and maintain post exit system.

Qualifications

Education and Experience

High school diploma, GED or higher.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience teaching or overseeing a program that serves a culturally diverse adult population

Demonstrated ability to forge effective relationships with staff, participants and collateral agencies

Proven ability to handle a multitude of tasks

Ability to take initiative and handle multiple priorities

The candidate must be highly organized, have excellent and timely interpersonal communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

? Sedentary work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
