Job Description Job Description As a Web Press Helper, you will
work with crewmembers in operating the press and folder, cleaning
and maintaining equipment, changing paper rolls, and performing
other assigned duties. What's in it for you: This position is a
contract-to-hire position Flexible to work 1st shift – Mon – Thurs
from 6am-4pm Competitive hourly wage at $17/hr. Company benefits
package available once hired in What you'll be responsible for:
Working with crewmembers in operating the press and folder,
cleaning and maintaining equipment, changing paper rolls, and
performing other assigned duties. Replenishing materials and
supplies such as fountain solutions and wash-up solvents as
required. Assisting press operators with preventative maintenance
of production units Working to keep the entire press area clean at
all times, both during production runs and down time. Opening rolls
and offloading product from stacker-packer as needed Assisting
press operators in filling ink fountains and loading feeders during
operations What we are looking for: Must be able to lift and move
materials weighing up to 75 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours Must
be able to use hands for a variety of repetitive material handling
tasks about 90% of an 8-hour shift constantly. Kneel and squat to
do work on an occasional basis. Previous web press experience
required Good at problem solving and making decisions High School
Diploma with good mechanical aptitude If you are a motivated and
