Job Description:
Clean Harbors, North America's leading provider of environmental
services, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Class A CDL Driver /
Equipment Operator with a valid TWIC card to join our
transportation team. This role is pivotal in helping us fulfill our
mission of ensuring a safer and cleaner environment by transporting
hazardous waste and operating specialized equipment responsibly.
The ideal candidate will operate company-owned vehicles, adhere
strictly to safety and regulatory guidelines, and play a critical
role in our emergency spill responses and industrial cleaning
services. Safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste while
adhering to company policies and government regulations. Operate
specialized environmental servicing equipment. Load and unload
cargo and ensure securement according to guidelines. Maintain logs
of working hours, vehicle service, and repair status in compliance
with state and federal regulations. Conduct daily inspections of
the vehicle and equipment and report any abnormalities. Participate
in emergency response calls as required, providing timely and
effective solutions. Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of
equipment. Proficient in driving large vehicles and operating heavy
equipment. Ability to handle hazardous materials safely. Strong
organizational and time management skills. Effective verbal and
written communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial
Driving License (CDL) with a clean driving record. Transportation
Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card. DOT Medical Card.
Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER)
certification is a plus.
