Job Purpose




Dana Incorporated is searching for a skilled and highly motivated NVH test engineer.


Job Duties and Responsibilities




Lead the advanced NVH simulation capability growth.

* Develop NVH and Acoustics modelling, prediction and correlation for EV product to expand Dana capabilities.

* Create and maintain standards for NVH/Acoustics CAE best practices.

* Mentor and train other engineers to share this knowledge and best practices.

* Find ways to semi-automate or make the NVH/acoustics CAE process more efficient.

* Represent Dana before customers as the NVH/Acoustics CAE expert.



Requirements:

* BSME or 4-year degree in relevant Engineering field required.

* Years Required: 10+ or Equivalent Education/Experience combination.

* Demonstrated technical leadership and accomplishments in previous position(s).

* Must be capable of performing duties with limited supervision.

* Strong interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels within and outside Dana in a professional manner.

* Ability to work in a team environment.

* Experience with NVH test/CAE correlation process preferred.

* Experience with NVH vibroacoustic analysis required.

* Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

* Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

* Must be willing and able to work extra hours as necessary to complete assignments.

* Program management skills, experience dealing with customers and manufacturing plants are pluses.

* Must have the necessary skills and knowledge to manage large scale customer projects with measurable success.

* Must protect Dana's IP, know when and what data to share to bring projects to successful completion.

* Has the knowledge and expertise to manage customers at the global level, working through different customer styles and engineering approaches.

* Demonstrated proficiency in tackling projects through launch period with tight deadlines, higher level of urgency, and applies acquired skills and knowledge to support the success of the team.
