Assistance ProgramsPosition Description:The Technical Project
Administrator provides administrative support to deliver projects
within the established budget and timeline. The Technical Project
Administrator should have knowledge of commonly-used concepts,
practices, and procedures in administrative support and will rely
on standards, instructions, and pre-established guidelines to
perform the functions of the job.Key duties:Pre-production staging
(office organization & entry of work orders), preparation/printing,
and dissemination of work assignment packages for Engineers,
Designers & Field Technicians.Update and maintain production,
budget, and milestone/schedule reports from Excel and Access
databases; track and report the status of work ordersPerform right
of way research, read plat maps, read existing utility maps, and
OUPS ticket submissions to assist in permitting processDraft permit
drawings in AutoCAD (prior experience with CAD preferred but not
required)Final work package closeout and filingCollaborate with
others, including co-workers and clients, as needed to devise the
best solutionsProfessionally communicate and coordinate between
departmentsAssisting project managers in coordinating project
activitiesProvide high-quality, efficient service with a focus on
helpfulness and teamworkFlexible, proactive, and resourceful when
dealing with issues that may arise, taking ownership to get
projects done, and coming prepared with potential solutions when
presenting problemsOther projects and operational duties as
assignedRequirements:Education or Experience: High School Diploma
or Equivalent, or 2 years of related equivalent
training/experienceStrong organizational skills, attention to
detail, and experience in office policy and process
managementExcellent time management skills and the ability to
organize, multitask and prioritizeStrong oral and written
communication skillsMust be discrete; a commitment to maintaining
company confidentiality and privacy guidelines is a
requirementProblem-solving skills and good judgmentAbility to
collaborate with a multi-department teamAble to read and decipher
information from various types of maps (plat, utility, etc.)Able to
pass a background check/drug test/driving record checkComputer
literate - especially Microsoft Word, Excel, OutlookAbility to
learn and operate proprietary software and other computer
systemsDependable transportation and a valid driver's license and
insuranceAuthorized to work in the United StatesPhysical
Requirements:Must be able to endure frequent, lengthy periods of
sedentary work and sit for prolonged periods of time, including at
a desk.Must be able to utilize a computer keyboard, computer
monitor, and telephone for prolonged periods of time.Must have the
physical ability to perform activities such as preparing and
analyzing data and figures, transcribing notes, and viewing a
computer terminal; these activities require close vision, distance
vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the
ability to adjust focus.Must have the physical ability to express
or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word and convey detailed
or important spoken instructions to other workers accurately, often
in a group setting.Must have the ability to receive detailed
information through oral communication and to make the
