We are excited to expand our operations with a state-of-the-art facility in Dover, Ohio, and are seeking a dynamic HR Generalist to support our efforts. This role offers the unique opportunity to be an integral part of our HR team, based in Wooster, Ohio, until our Dover plant is completed. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the HR Business Partner or Manager HR to provide analytical and conceptual support. Continually strive to enhance HR processes within your assigned areas of responsibility. Play a vital role in the recruitment process by screening applications and conducting interviews, ensuring we attract top talent that aligns with our company values and goals. Work closely with employees to discuss career paths, evaluate candidates, and provide recommendations to facilitate career growth within the company. Perform routine HR and salary administration tasks, advising managers and employees on HR-related matters to promote efficient operations and positive employee relations. Delve into personnel matters as needed, offering counsel to management and employees to resolve issues effectively. Assist the HR Business Partner in the design and implementation of HR projects that support our strategic objectives. Function as an active member of the HR team, contributing to both operational and administrative tasks that drive the company's success. Actively participate in community activities and events, representing the company and forging strong local connections. Be prepared for occasional travel as necessary to fulfill job duties across different locations. Your Qualifications Proven experience in HR roles with strong analytical and conceptual skills. Demonstrated ability to conduct recruitment processes, including application screening and interviewing. Strong understanding of career development and employee assessment. Familiarity with HR administration and salary management practices. Excellent investigative and advisory skills regarding personnel matters. Ability to collaborate effectively within team settings. Community engagement experience is a plus. Willingness to travel when required. External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship.
