General SummaryCampbell's Napoleon Operations, representing
Campbell Soup's premier thermal operation globally, accounts for
approx. $2.0 billion in List Sales value of production. The
Napoleon Operations consists of an East Plant, including 14 Soup
and 3 Sauce production lines, a West Plant, including 6 Beverage
production lines, a 1.0 MM square foot distribution center with 10+
million case capacity, Campbell's Residue Lab, and Plant Utilities,
including a powerhouse, water treatment facility, and waste water
treatment facility, respectively. In a typical year, Campbell Soup
invests $25 to $35 million in capital at the Napoleon site which
has a current asset base of approx. $0.3 billion in net book
value.The Napoleon Payroll department is responsible for processing
weekly payroll for approximately 1,200+ union hourly and salary
employees and up to 1,700+ during the Soup & V7 season in late
summer and fall. Napoleon's average annual payroll is $90+mm. This
position requires extremely strong attention to detail, excellent
communication skills, and ability to meet strict deadlines. Good
interpersonal skills are required as this position interfaces with
hourly employees, management teams, as well as regulatory agencies.
The successful candidate must demonstrate a high level of
confidentiality handling employee sensitive information.Principal
Accountabilities (list in order of importance and indicate
percentage of time spent on each)45% -Weekly Hourly Payroll
Processing and Analysis. Responsible for generating weekly payroll
for 1,700+ employees based on accumulation of time records in the
Kronos Time and Attendance system. This requires a thorough review
of both hourly and salary time-card records working closely with
managers and team leaders to validate hours and pay rates. In
addition, key weekly responsibilities are to build the payroll
transmission and confirm values processed through Workday working
closely with the Accenture payroll team. Process adjustments as
needed and issue Aline cards to provide corrected pay to
employees.20% - Payroll Administrative Control. Maintain employee
master data in Kronos system including schedule changes, pay rate,
deductions, and tax changes. This requires working closely with the
HR team to ensure alignment between Workday and Kronos. Calculate
and track vacation pay. Enter and maintain employee deductions.
Monitor missed punch exceptions and lead cross functional
review.10% - Kronos Subject Matter Expert. Provide support to
Kronos users including creating, updating, and delivering training
for new users or as application changes are implemented. Test
Kronos application changes to ensure payroll accuracy. Troubleshoot
application issues and work with application support to drive
solutions. Provide support to HR, WHQ payroll, and IT with program
upgrades as well as working to improve reporting, procedures, and
identify best practices. Maintain documentation of pay rules based
on a thorough understanding of the CBA while ensuring alignment
with HR, Legal, Payroll, and local leadership.10% - Labor Reporting
and Analysis. Provide reporting and analysis for direct and
indirect labor on a weekly, monthly, and year-to-date basis. Work
with cross functional teams to investigate variances to plan and/or
prior periods.15% - Special Projects & Other. Provide payroll
subject matter expertise to Union Negotiating team in support of
the CBA. Provide payroll analysis and payroll data on request and
complete miscellaneous duties as assigned.Job Complexity (provide

position is expected to resolve)The successful candidate will need
a thorough understanding of Napoleon's Collective Bargaining
Agreement pay rules and the ability to translate those rules as it
relates to payroll data. This often requires interfacing with IT,
HR, Plant Leadership, Legal, and Union Representatives if pay rule
issues arise.Ability to interpret complex data as it relates to
specific areas of responsibility and to provide data in a
meaningful format to management thereby driving insight and

equivalent work experience in a related field.Education desired:
