Supports the day-to-day recruiting activities, has oversight of the
pre-hire onboarding process and performs other general
recruiting/administrative functions as assigned.
The Recruiting Administrator
Assist Recruiting:
- Create and maintain job postings on a variety of websites and
within the Applicant Tracking System.
- Perform standard recruiting duties (i.e. review new resumes,
the source for passive candidates, conduct in-person and phone
interviews, schedule hiring manager interviews, send appropriate
candidate communications, make offers, monitor pre-employment
screening processes, etc.).
- Maintain Recruiting tracking spreadsheets as needed
- Establish a recognizable employer of choice reputation for the
company, both internally and externally.
- Create and maintain candidate pipelines by building personal
networks; joining associations, working with colleges and trade
schools; building rapport with professors and advisors; employment
agencies; providing Sigma information, opportunities, and benefits
when necessary; maintaining rapport with potential candidates,
current and past employees, etc.
Manage New Hire Onboarding Process:
- Maintain daily oversight of all related pre-hire onboarding
activities
- Send/Monitor background check requests
- Collection/coordination of all new hire onboarding
paperwork
- Arrange for I-9 data collection
- Create documentation for new hire orientation day
- Assist the Human Resources team with related duties as
needed
- May also assist other departments of the CoAdministrative team
(Training, HR, etc.) Competencies/Skills: Administrative Support -

Requirements:Required Education and Experience
- Education: Completed HS Diploma or equivalent
- Must have 1+ years of relevant experience in Recruiting/Talent
Acquisition and/or Office Administration
- Must be discrete; a commitment to maintaining company
confidentiality and privacy guidelines is a requirement
- Must be familiar with current state and federal employment
law.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel,
and Outlook.
- Must have experience supporting diversity & inclusion hiring
goals.Required Skills:
- Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work
within a team, establishing and sustaining relationships with
colleagues and employees at all levels in the company.
- Must possess a professional appearance and good verbal,
written, and presentation skills.
- Must have the ability to collect and provide feedback to both
candidates and clients.
- Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to
organize, multitask, and prioritizePreferred Education,
Qualifications, and Skills:
- Associate's Degree, or higher, in a technical, business or
communications-related field
- QuickBooks/QuickBase experience
- Ability to apply creative problem-solving to business
challenges and provide guidance to organizational
stakeholders.
- Possess basic financial skills to assist in making sound
business decisionsOffice and Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to endure frequent, lengthy periods of sedentary
work and sit for prolonged periods of time, including at a desk or
as a driver or passenger in an automobile
- Must be able to utilize a computer keyboard, computer monitor,
and telephone for prolonged periods of time
- Must have the physical ability to perform activities such as
preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing notes, and
viewing a computer terminal; these activities require close vision,
distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception,
and the ability to adjust focus
- Must have the physical ability to express or exchange ideas by
means of the spoken word and convey detailed or important spoken
instructions to other workers accurately, often in a group
setting
- Must have the physical ability to receive detailed information
through oral communication
- Must be available during the core work hours of 8:00 a.m. to
5:00 p.m. and willing to work occasional overtime as needed
- Must be able to pass a background check/drug test/driving
record check
- Must have dependable transportation and a valid driver's
license and insurance
- Must be authorized to work in the United StatesTravel:
- Must be willing and able to travel if needed, including
