Payroll Coordinator
The City of Maumee is accepting applications for the position of Payroll Coordinator.

Purpose: Responsible for overseeing and directing payroll functions, including the preparation of payroll information, the distribution of checks and pay stubs, and the accurate reporting of payroll related information. Prepares periodic reports for City and government purposes and ensures tax payments are timely. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Provides managers with accurate payroll information. Establishes, interprets, oversees, and enforces payroll policies and procedures.

Qualifications: College level coursework in accounting and business administration, or equivalent combination of experience and training. Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.

Experience: Three or more years of payroll, accounting, and related experience preferred. Familiarity with federal and state employment laws.

Salary: $59,536 - $76,400, starting pay and benefits package dependent on education and experience.
