Restaurant Servers are key members of our team and responsible for all areas of service with the customers. Restaurant Servers are responsible for taking food and beverage orders from customers, communicating orders with the kitchen and beverage centers, and ensuring that customer needs are met.

Job Outline:

Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude.
Enter customer orders into computer system and coordinate with kitchen staff to meet the requests of the customer.
Engage with customers in a positive and friendly matter.
In conjunction with restaurant management, resolves any customer concerns or complaints in a timely manner.
Ensures all customers are enjoying their dining experience and, when needed, takes actions to correct any problems.
Prepares checks that itemize meal costs and collects payments from tables.
Assists food preparation staff when necessary.
Supports the team by running food and drinks, bussing and sanitizing tables, greeting guests, and completing opening and closing restaurant procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

Ability to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
Positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure with bussers, cooks, and other staff members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and deliver orders in a timely manner.
Ability to memorize and describe ingredients and preparation of all food and beverage options.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing demands for time and attention.
Must be able to handle and carry dishware and glassware safely.
Ability to exercise excellent hygiene in conjunction with food handling safety.

Experience and Education:

Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required.

Location and Travel:

This position is expected to work on-site at the restaurant location.
Travel to additional restaurant locations may be required depending on business needs.

Position Type & Expected Hours of Work:

This is an hourly part-time position.
Hours worked per day and week will vary depending on business needs. Evenings and weekends may be required.
This position is hourly with a base pay rate of $5.05/hour plus tips.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift 10 pounds constantly and up to 50 pounds as required.
Must be able to lift form floor to shoulder consistently.
Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds overhead.
Must be able to twist and reach frequently.
Must be able to grasp, move and manipulate objects consistently.
