Acts as a change agent to create and support a positive change process.Conducts reviews of medical records for coding accuracy. Provides education and training to providers regarding coding guidelines and documentation. Works collaboratively with other team members to ensure accurate reporting of the level of risk for our patient populationACA/MA/Medicaid HCC Risk Adjustment Coder Embedded in provider offices up to 50% of the timeBasic Qualifications:Education - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education and/or experienceExperience - 5 years of experience typically gained through skills/knowledge/abilities in related experience Previous leadership/management/project management experiencePreferred Qualifications:Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA).
