Job Description:
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental
Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will possess
a strong commitment to patient care, excellent clinical skills, and
a thorough understanding of dental procedures and infection control
protocols. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in
maintaining oral health, educating patients on proper dental
hygiene practices, and supporting the overall efficiency of our
dental practice. This position offers an opportunity to work in a

continuous learning. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive dental
cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and
tartar buildup. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical
histories, vital signs, and current oral health status. Assist with
dental procedures by providing chairside support and ensuring
patient comfort throughout treatments. Educate patients on proper
oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment options
tailored to their needs. Maintain accurate and detailed medical
records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols.
Operate dental equipment such as X-ray machines for medical imaging
while adhering to safety standards. Follow strict infection control
procedures using aseptic techniques to prevent cross-contamination.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to ensure seamless
patient care delivery within general dentistry practices.
Requirements Valid licensure as a Dental Hygienist in accordance
with state or regional licensing boards. Proven experience working
in a dental clinic or dental office environment. Strong knowledge
of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to
dentistry. Familiarity with infection control standards,
sterilization procedures, and aseptic techniques. Ability to
perform chairside assisting duties efficiently within a four-handed
dentistry setup. Excellent communication skills with the ability to
educate patients effectively and foster a welcoming environment.
