a qualified Correctional RN in Toledo, Ohio, 43608! Job Title:

frequent stair climbing/descending - Experience in corrections
nursing - Strong organizational and leadership skills Description:
Provide direct nursing care in a correctional setting. Make rounds
and evaluate care needed and rendered. Develop care plans and
educate on health care principles. Administer medications,
including narcotics. Perform specialized procedures such as IV
therapy, chemotherapy, wound care, and oxygen therapy. Conduct
blood transfusions, incubation, tube feeding, catheterization,
suctioning, and phlebotomy duties. Organize and oversee emergency
response teams. Direct health care staff assigned to the area. Act
as the lead worker in charge during shifts in the absence of
higher-level nursing staff. Assist physicians in diagnostic health
evaluations. Perform clerical tasks, including charting and
recording medications and treatments. Complete required reports,
including incident and accident reports. Document necessary medical
information and maintain inventory of controlled substances.
Arrange outpatient clinic appointments and medical examinations.
Manage prescription orders and liaise with local pharmacies.
Perform administrative tasks and participate in organizational
meetings. Conduct educational sessions as needed and lead
