Job Description Acute Psychiatrist Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join a collaborative inpatient behavioral health team in Fort Wayne, IN. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, strong clinical support, and competitive compensation. Position Overview Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (with some flexibility) Caseload: 12–16 patients/day Primarily inpatient psychiatry with occasional PHP/IOP and tele-psychiatry consults Daily treatment team meetings with support from UR staff and social workers Work in collaboration with a full-time Nurse Practitioner Compensation & Benefits Generous base salary plus productivity bonus Paid professional liability insurance with tail coverage Access to TeamHealth’s clinician wellness program and referral program Industry-leading clinical support (MIPS, billing/coding training, and education) Robust infrastructure with extensive back-office and local management support Additional earning opportunities: after-hours call and weekend coverage (rotation/voluntary) Requirements MD or DO, Board Certified or Eligible in Psychiatry Active Indiana medical license (or eligibility) This role offers an excellent balance of clinical care, collaboration, and flexibility in a supportive environment.
