Encompass Health Corporation invites newly graduated or entry-level registered nurses to apply for our structured and immersive Residency Program in our varied healthcare settings. This role is designed to bridge the gap between academic training and real-world responsibilities, providing comprehensive on-the-job training, mentorship, and specialized educational opportunities. Nurses will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care in our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, home health agencies, and hospice agencies, furthering our commitment to high-quality patient outcomes and professional development. Deliver compassionate and high-quality patient care in accordance with nursing philosophy and approved standards. Participate in all phases of the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Engage in collaborative healthcare management with a multi-disciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes. Adapt to diverse healthcare settings including inpatient, home health, and hospice care. Implement patient care plans and conduct patient follow-ups to assess progress. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Strong clinical skills in a healthcare setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills High stress resilience and emotional stability Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the applicable state Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
