Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated and skilled
Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. This position will be
based in one of our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals,
contributing to our comprehensive, facility-based patient care
services. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in
delivering high-quality, compassionate healthcare and ensuring the
effective delivery of rehabilitation services to our patients. Your
expertise will be vital in providing personalized patient care,
supporting recovery, and facilitating health education tailored to
individual patient needs. Assess patient health problems and needs,
and develop and implement nursing care plans Maintain accurate,
detailed reports and records of patients' medical histories and
monitoring progress Administer medications and treatments to
patients and observe reactions or side effects Modify patient
treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions
Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess,
plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans Educate patients
and their families on disease prevention and health maintenance
Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their
families Strong interpersonal and communication skills Advanced
knowledge of healthcare and medical protocols Ability to work
effectively in a team and independently Critical thinking and
problem-solving skills Organizational and multi-tasking skills
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment; Basic
Life Support (BLS) Certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular
Life Support (ACLS) preferred
