Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation, a leading provider of inpatient rehabilitation and home-based care, is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses for our healthcare facilities. This position demands compassionate and skilled nursing professionals to support our organization’s commitment to exceptional care. As part of our team, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for our patients, delivering both facility-based and home-based care as needed. Assess patients' health problems and needs, and develop and implement nursing care plans Maintain accurate, detailed reports and patient records Monitor, record and report symptoms and changes in patients' conditions Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care Instruct individuals, families, or other groups on topics such as health education, disease prevention, and childbirth Prepare patients for, and assist with, examinations or treatments Operate medical equipment and administer patient medications and treatments Assist in rehabilitation and treatment of patients, adhering to the care plans set out by physicians Strong interpersonal and communication skills Clinical expertise in a broad range of nursing fields Ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems Solid understanding of health and safety guidelines and protocols Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment Basic Life Support (BLS) certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
