Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking highly skilled,
compassionate, and dedicated Registered Nurses (RN) to join our
diverse team of healthcare professionals. Our nurses play a pivotal
role in providing excellent care within our array of inpatient
rehabilitation hospitals, home health agencies, and hospice
services. This role focuses on patient care delivery, assessment,
and the planning and implementation of prescribed healthcare plans
in a multidisciplinary environment. Registered Nurses at Encompass
Health are instrumental in helping patients achieve recovery and
optimal health outcomes, ensuring the continuity of care through
precise documentation and communication with healthcare teams.
Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement
nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer
nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients.
Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or
provide case management. Monitor, record, and report symptoms and
changes in patients' conditions in a timely manner. Operate medical
machinery, administer treatments and medications, and assist with
patient follow-up and rehabilitation. Maintain a safe and clean
working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and
regulations. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
including physicians, specialists, and other health practitioners.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to
work effectively in a team environment. In-depth knowledge of
health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation,
decontamination etc.) Hands-on experience with all relevant medical
equipment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
BLS/ACLS Certification. Certification in specialized fields like
Geriatric Care or Pain Management is preferred but not
required.
