Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated and
compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team. Our nurses play a
crucial role in delivering exceptional care to patients in our
inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, enabling them to achieve the
highest levels of independence after life-altering illnesses or
injuries. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will
collaborate to provide tailored care that involves innovative
treatments and therapies. This position involves direct patient
care and requires strong clinical skills, a caring nature, and the
ability to work in a dynamic, patient-focused environment. Assess,
plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans in collaboration
with the healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments as
prescribed by physicians. Monitor patient progress and adjust
treatments as necessary. Educate patients and their families on
illness prevention and lifestyle adjustments. Record patient
medical histories and symptoms, and maintain accurate
documentation. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations
and safety standards. Strong practical nursing skills in an acute
care setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well in a team and manage stress effectively.
Knowledge of EMR systems and proficient in clinical documentation.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid
Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. BLS
Certified; ACLS certification is a plus.
