Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking dedicated and
compassionate individuals to join our team as Registered Nurse
Residents. We provide a dynamic work environment with a focus on
facility-based and home-based patient care across our extensive
network of inpatient rehabilitation, home health agencies, and
hospice agencies. Our Nurse Residency program is designed to equip
new RN graduates with the skills needed to transition from academia
to clinical practice effectively. This hands-on program offers
rotations through various departments, mentorship from seasoned
healthcare professionals, and continuous educational opportunities
to foster growth and specialization in healthcare. Provide
high-quality patient care under the supervision of experienced
nurses and physicians. Assist in the assessment, planning,
implementation, and evaluation of patient care in both inpatient
and outpatient settings. Administer medications, maintain accurate
patient records, and comply with healthcare regulations.
Participate actively in all training sessions, workshops, and
educational classes. Communicate effectively with patients,
families, and healthcare team members. Ensure safety and
cleanliness standards are maintained at all times. Strong clinical
skills and knowledge of healthcare operations. Excellent
interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively
in a team settings. Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced
environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
401k Must have passed the NCLEX-RN exam. Current registered nurse
license in the state of practice. CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS)
certifications required.
