Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking dedicated individuals to
join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals as Registered
Nurse Residents in our highly esteemed inpatient rehabilitation and
home health settings. This residency program is designed to empower
new graduates and nurses transitioning to acute care, providing
comprehensive training and real-world experience under the guidance
of seasoned mentors and supportive staff. As a part of our team,
you'll be directly involved in patient care within a structured,
nurturing environment that prioritizes your professional growth and
patient outcomes. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to
patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
Document patient histories, symptoms, and observations. Work
alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient
care. Administer medications, manage intravenous lines, observe and
monitor patient's conditions, maintain records and communicate
patient condition to relevant staff. Participate in decision-making
and workshops to enhance nursing practices and strategies. Follow
the predefined curriculum and attend all scheduled lectures,
workshops, and clinical sessions. Strong clinical skills in a
healthcare setting Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent time
management and organizational skills Proficiency with healthcare
technology and electronic health records Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic
Life Support (BLS) Certification, Advanced Cardiovascular Life
Support (ACLS) may be preferred.
