Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking dedicated and
compassionate new graduates to join our Registered Nurse Residency
program. This unique opportunity is designed to bridge the gap from
nursing education to clinical practice through a comprehensive
curriculum that focuses on both theoretical learning and hands-on
experience. Our program provides a nurturing and supportive
environment within our network of inpatient rehabilitation
hospitals, home health agencies, and hospice agencies, aiming to
develop competent, confident, and versatile nurses equipped to face
the dynamic challenges of the healthcare sector. Provide direct and
comprehensive nursing care to patients within assigned unit.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Participate in the creation and evaluation of personalized care
plans for each patient. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
to enhance patient outcomes. Engage in learning activities and
evaluations to assess progress and areas for improvement within the
residency. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and
standards. Strong clinical skills and a foundational knowledge of
patient care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. High
adaptability to dynamic and changing situations in healthcare
settings. Proficiency in using healthcare technology and patient
management systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Must have passed the National Council Licensure
Examination (NCLEX-RN). Current registered nurse license in the
state of practice. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification is
required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred.
