Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team and deliver exceptional patient care within our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. As a Registered Nurse, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients by effectively managing care plans, administering treatments, and supporting patient rehabilitation goals. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a diverse patient population, facilitating health and recovery through evidence-based practices. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Administer medications, wound care, and other personalized interventions. Record patient vital signs and medical information. Order and evaluate diagnostic tests. Educate patients and their families on recovery techniques. Supervise and train LPNs and nursing assistants. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards. Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to operate medical equipment Critical thinking and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
