Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated and
compassionate Registered Nurse Resident to join our expansive team
of healthcare professionals. This position is designed for recent
nursing graduates who are looking to transition smoothly from
educational to practical environments. Based in our
state-of-the-art facilities, this residency will allow you to work
across various units, providing both facility-based and home-based
patient care, reflecting our commitment to excellence in patient
rehabilitation and recovery services. You will learn under the
guidance of experienced mentors and participate in professional
development tailored to your career interests in nursing. Provide
high-quality patient care in both inpatient and home-based
settings. Assist in developing and implementing nursing care plans.
Work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to ensure
optimal patient outcomes. Participate in all phases of the nursing
process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation,
and evaluation. Engage in learning sessions and hands-on training
as part of the residency curriculum. Adhere to all facility health
and safety policies and procedures. Strong clinical skills in
patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Capability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Adaptability to diverse healthcare settings Proficient in using
medical software and electronic health records Medical Insurance
