Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated and
compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our residency program,
designed to prepare new RN graduates for a rewarding career in
patient care. Our program provides hands-on experience in a variety
of settings within our extensive network of inpatient
rehabilitation hospitals, home health agencies, and hospice care
agencies. This opportunity is ideal for new graduates looking to
gain invaluable experience and guided mentorship in a supportive
and clinical learning environment. Provide direct nursing care to
patients in a variety of settings including inpatient
rehabilitation, home health, and hospice care. Assess, plan,
implement and evaluate nursing care plans in a collaborative
healthcare environment. Participate in all phases of the residency
curriculum, including both classroom and clinical experiences.
Ensure patient and family-centered care is comprehensive,
coordinated, and accessible. Maintain patient records with accuracy
as per healthcare regulations and the company's policy. Engage with
interdisciplinary team meetings to review and manage patient care
plans. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures and uphold
the standards of the nursing practice within the care delivery
model. Strong clinical skills and knowledge of healthcare
protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a team and independently as needed.
Demonstrate resilience and the ability to cope with a challenging
and changing environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k Current RN license in the state of employment or
eligible for licensure. CPR certification required.
