Job Description:
Hospital is looking for a Gastroenterologist to supplement GI
call coverage, inpatient consults, ED and scheduled procedures.
Need is for the equivalent of 3 full time locums. They need nights
covered with on call and 15 days a month of IP consults. Priority
will be given to candidates that can provide the most coverage and
have an active MI license. Practice Setting: Hospital Onsite Lab?
Yes Onsite X-Ray? Yes Will Outpatient Gastroenterology and Internal
Medicine be Required? No Average Number of Office/Clinic Patients
Per Locum Per Day: 0 Average Number of Hospital Based Patients Per
Locum Per Day: TBD How Many Physicians in Your Group? 1 Average
Number of Patients Per Day: NA Documentation System/EMR: Epic
Trauma Level/Designation: 1 Required Procedures: Colonoscopy,
Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) Required Types of Upper GI Endoscopy:
Diagnostic, Therapeutic with Biopsy, with Foreign Body Removal
Estimated credentialing timeframe - 90-120 days
