Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Step Down
Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience required. License: Must have a
state license by the start date. Certifications: BCLS required.
Must-Have: - EPIC charting experience required. - Travel experience
required. - Telemetry experience required. - Experience in
interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required.
Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing
in Step Down care. The nurse will be responsible for caring for
adult patients in a step-down unit. Patient ratios will be 1:4-6.
Weekend coverage is required, with 3 weekends in a 4-week schedule.
The nurse must float to various adult acute care units as needed.
Candidates should have experience with managing vasoactive drips,
telemetry, and post-operative care. Knowledge of chemotherapy
administration and monitoring is preferred. The nurse will interact
with various interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive
patient care. Experience with cardiac procedures, trauma, and
neurological assessments is beneficial. Candidates should
demonstrate strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a
fast-paced environment. This position involves monitoring patients
with complex needs and making critical decisions. There will be a
focus on maintaining high standards of care and patient safety. All
candidates must be able and willing to provide proof of education
at the high school level, regardless of secondary education.
Certifications should not be pending beyond the contract start. The
workload will include administrative tasks related to patient care
documentation. Nurses will be responsible for providing direct
patient care, including assessments, interventions, and
