3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession:
Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night
Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year required, 2 years
preferred License: Michigan RN License (pending license acceptable
with ETA provided) Certifications: BLS (AHA) (pending certification
acceptable, confirmation of willingness to obtain required)
Must-Have: Must be willing to work with a variety of staff (i.e.,
RN, LPN, Techs, etc.) Must be available for the first two weeks of
orientation Must float to other Medical Surgical units Must work
every other weekend Description: Desired start date is February
23rd. 36 or 48 hour work weeks available. Staffing ratio is 1:5-6
for nights. Ratios may flex to 8 patients, but the RN will be
paired with an LPN for support in these instances. Depending on
unit needs, floating to different Medical Surgical units may occur.
The unit works with a good mix of medical patients and specialties
including orthopedic, neurovascular, cardiopulmonary, surgical
patients related to GI, urology, hysterectomies, and mastectomies.
A variety of staff work on this unit and other Medical Surgical
units. Travelers generally float first based on need. Proof of Flu
vaccination is required with submission, and medical exemptions
only are accepted. References are required. Requirements Required
