Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated and skilled
Nurse Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As a leader in
healthcare services, we provide comprehensive inpatient
rehabilitation, home health, and hospice care to patients across
our network. The Nurse Supervisor will oversee nursing activities,
ensuring the highest standard of patient care and compliance with
healthcare regulations. This role requires a balance of clinical
expertise and leadership skills to manage nursing staff and
collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to
optimize patient outcomes. Supervise nursing staff and monitor
patient care activities to ensure adherence to quality standards
and regulations. Coordinate with healthcare team members to assess,
plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Conduct training
sessions for nursing staff to enhance clinical skills and
knowledge. Manage staff scheduling, assignment delegation, and
resource allocation to optimize patient care. Participate in the
recruitment, hiring, and performance evaluation of nursing
personnel. Ensure compliance with healthcare laws, regulations, and
hospital policies. Address and resolve any issues or conflicts
within the nursing team. Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing
staff to promote professional growth and high morale. Strong
leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Proficient in using healthcare software and
electronic health records. Ability to work effectively in
high-pressure environments. Expertise in clinical techniques and
standard healthcare protocols. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance 401k Valid registered nurse (RN) license. Basic
Life Support (BLS) Certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support
(ACLS) Certification preferred.
