Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Nurse
Supervisor to join our team, providing superior facility-based and
home-based patient care across our network of inpatient
rehabilitation hospitals, home health agencies, and hospice
agencies. The Nurse Supervisor will oversee nursing staff and
ensure that all nursing operations are carried out in compliance
with clinical policies, standards, and regulations. This role
requires a dynamic leader who can effectively manage staff, promote
exceptional patient care, and contribute to the overall objectives
of our health services. Oversee the daily operations of nursing
staff across various units. Ensure adherence to all federal, state,
and local regulations and compliance with healthcare standards and
practices. Evaluate nursing staff performance and provide guidance
for improvement. Develop and implement training programs to enhance
staff skills. Coordinate with healthcare professionals to maintain
quality of care. Manage patient care planning and implementation.
Handle administrative duties including reports, budgets, and
healthcare documentation. Strong leadership and organizational
skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in healthcare management systems and patient care
software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Registered
Nurse (RN) license. BLS/ACLS certification.
