Nurse Practitioner | Surgery - Cardiothoracic Location: Toledo, OH Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position This is an exciting opportunity to join a Level I trauma environment , supporting cardiothoracic surgery patients across multiple hospital locations while working autonomously with strong physician support. Why You’ll Love This Role Dynamic inpatient setting with exposure to post-op floors and ICU care Collaborative care model with daily physician rounding and 24/7 backup Flexible monthly coverage (10 days per month, including two weekends) Opportunity to support a growing team and help onboard a new hire Position Highlights Practice Setting: Inpatient post-op floor and ICU Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Call: 10 days per month | Call ratio 1:3 Patient Volume: ~12 patients per day Patient Population: Adult & geriatric Autonomy: Yes, with physician availability at all times EMR: Epic Core Responsibilities Post-op rounding and care coordination Pre-op physical exams Diagnose and treat illnesses Order and interpret diagnostic tests Write prescriptions Suture removal and wound care Coordinate care across multidisciplinary teams ? Required Qualifications Certified Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP) Active Ohio NP license BLS & ACLS Relevant training and inpatient experience
