Assistant – Cardiothoracic Surgery Location: Toledo, OH Rate:
$130/hour Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Dates of Coverage: January
– April (TBD beyond April) Coverage Need: 10 days/month, including
coverage over two weekends per month Reason for Coverage Open

Inpatient post-op floor ICU care Level I Trauma Center Schedule
Shifts/Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Call: 10 days of
call per month Call Ratio: 1:3 Locum Nurse Practitioner / Physician

of 12 patients per day Adult and geriatric population APP Role &
Supervision APP will work autonomously Supervising physician will
round daily and is available 24/7 by phone Required Duties Suture
removal Diagnose and treat illnesses Order and interpret diagnostic
tests Write prescriptions Coordination of care Rounding
Pre-operative physical exams Documentation / EMR EPIC Credentialing
Estimated timeframe: 60–90 days if file is clean Facility will
attempt to expedite Requirements ANCC or AANP certification –
REQUIRED Active Ohio license – REQUIRED BLS & ACLS – REQUIRED
Relevant cardiothoracic surgery training and experience – REQUIRED
