for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking an
experienced Cardiothoracic Nurse Practitioner or Physician
Assistant for a locum tenens opportunity in Toledo, OH, supporting
a busy Level I Trauma Center. This role offers a mix of inpatient
post-operative floor care, ICU coverage, and scheduled office hours
within a collaborative cardiothoracic surgery team. Position
Details Shift Type: Days Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Coverage: 10 shifts per month Weekend Requirements: 2 weekends per
month On-Call: Yes Call Schedule: 10 days of call per month Call
Ratio: 1:3 Average Daily Census: Approximately 12 patients Practice
Setting: Inpatient post-operative floor ICU care Office/clinic
support EMR: EPIC Trauma Designation: Level I Responsibilities
Provide inpatient post-operative management for cardiothoracic
surgery patients Manage ICU patients in collaboration with
cardiothoracic surgeons and critical care teams Conduct daily
rounds, assessments, and care planning Respond to on-call needs
related to cardiothoracic surgical patients Document patient care
accurately and timely in EPIC Collaborate with multidisciplinary
teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with cardiothoracic or
surgical experience preferred Active Ohio medical license NCCPA
certification (for Physician Assistants) BLS and ACLS
certifications required Toledo, Ohio sits along Lake Erie and
