Pay Information $2,302 per week About The Position Job Title: Neuro Progressive RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neuro Progressive Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7pm - 7am Hours per Shift: 36 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in PCU or Stepdown License: Indiana RN license or compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Previous neuro experience required Description: The position involves caring for Neuro Stepdown/Progressive patients. Experience with drip titration is preferred. If not experienced, the nurse may float to Medsurg/tele units. Equipment utilized includes EPIC, PYXIS, Philips defibrillator, and Philips bedside monitors. Floating to similar units is required as needed. The ratio of nurse to patient is 3-4:1 on Progressive and 4-5:1 on Medsurg. Dress code consists of Caribbean blue scrubs. Travelers must attend orientation and training sessions, including the Jumpstart program and EPIC training. The orientation period includes 1-2 days on the unit. The employee will never work alone.
