Scope of Service: The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care provided to a group of patients. This nurse leads the nursing team members in the care as directed by the attending physician and in collaboration with other health care providers in accordance with the philosophy and policies of ProMedica Acute Care Hospitals. Actively participates in the creation of an environment that fosters patient, family, physician and employee satisfaction. Ensures decisions made are based on patient and family centered care philosophy utilizing evidenced based practices, and focused on safety, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes. Unit Overview:

• 24 Bed Unit
• 4:1 Patient to RN ratio
• Located in the new Generations Tower Patient Population: Chronic Heart Failure, Myocardial Infarction, Atrial and Ventricular Arrhythmias, Pre and post Stent, PPM Insertion, and ICD Insertion. This unit also takes intermediate overflow patients as needed. $10,000 Sign-On Bonus Eligible Candidates must be external and have at least 1 year of Registered Nurse experience to be eligible for the Sign-on Bonus.Position Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school. BSN preferred
  • Current State license as a Registered Nurse
  • 1 year of experience as an RN
  • Current CPR / BLA Certification
  • Specialty certifications as required for the department
