In fact, we're the only hospital in northwest Ohio to receive this honor. -Scope of Service: -The Registered Nurse provides nursing care to individuals and groups which require specialized knowledge, judgment, and skill derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, spiritual/cultural, and nursing sciences. - The Registered Nurse functions within the full scope of nursing practice as noted by the Board of Nursing of their designated state for which they are practicing in addition to compliance with any of the hospitals accrediting bodies. - -TTH Cardiac Intermediate:

• Our ProMedica Toledo Hospital offers a nationally recognized heart program which boasts a total of 3 Cardiac Intermediate Units, each specializing in medical and pre/post-operative surgical patients. -
• Our Cardiac patient population includes CHF, Myocardial Infarction, Atrial and Ventricular Arrhythmias, PPM and ICD Insertion, CABG, Valve Replacement and Repairs, TAVR, and Thoracotomy.Each unit ranges in size from 19 - 24 beds, has a 1:4 nurse to patient ratio, and offers a cross-functional team of highly esteemed Cardiologists, RNs, and Nursing Assistants.::Position Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school. - BSN preferred
  • Current State license as a Registered Nurse
  • 1 year of experience as an RN
  • Current CPR / BLS Certification
  • Specialty certifications as required for the department
