Job Description:

POSITION SUMMARYProvides occupational health services to employees at assigned plant locations including first aid, maintaining health and safety records, and providing recommendations for safety. - -ACCOUNTABILITIES -1. - - -Maintains employee health records in assigned location.2. - - -Assesses injuries and illnesses of employees. -Provides first aid for minor injuries and refers more serious injuries/illnesses to an appropriate level of care.3. - - -Reports safety violations and concerns to plant leadership.4. - - -Promotes health living and work conditions.5. - - -Effectively interacts with patients and their employers and serves as the liaison between ProMedica 360 Health and plant management.6. - - -Helps ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and government requirements and maintains required records for them.7. - - -Delivers clinical care within Scope of Service using Nursing Standards of Care and applicable policies and procedures.8. - - -Performs other duties as assigned. -Education: High School Diploma and graduation from an accredited school of Registered Nursing. -Skills: -Good Communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Years of Experience: -Previous nursing experience in a clinical setting.License: -Current RN License in state.Certification: Certified Professional Collector (CPC) for drug screens, NIOSH approved Spirometry training, certification as a Breath Alcohol Technician, and certification as an audiometric Technician within six months of hire or transfer. - -ProMedica -is a mission-based, not-for-profit integrated healthcare organization headquartered in Toledo, Ohio. - -For more information, please visit -Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, ancestry, religion, sex/gender (including pregnancy), sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression, age, physical or mental disability, military or protected veteran status, citizenship, familial or marital status, genetics, or any other legally protected category.
