In fact, we are the only hospital in northwest Ohio to receive this honor. - - -Position Summary:RNs play a vital role in the collaboration and implementation of the continuum of care for their patients. - It is never the same each day in terms of patient interaction and scope of treatments. - This position is ideal for candidates that want to use their critical thinking and problem solving skills to make a true difference in their patient's health and well-being. -Unit Overview:We are a 39 bed acute care unit with a focus in urology, nephrology and vascular patient's. We have a 4:1 patient to RN ratio working alongside of our NA's. -Patient Population:

• Renal: -Hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, acute and chronic kidney disease.
• Urology: -Post op from procedures such as prostate resection, resection of bladder tumors, nephrectomy's, stent placement and continuous bladder irrigation. -
• Vascular: -Wound care, clotting disorders, post op from procedures such as vascular bypass, endovascular AAA repairs, and debridement's. -We also have overflow of a variety of patient's with other acute care needs. -Position Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Ohio RN license
    • BSN Preferred
    • Current BLS
    • 1 year of RN experience required - Acute setting preferred
    • Physical Requirements
      • Must be able to move about hospital and between workstations; and prolonged periods of standing
      • Must be able to lift medium materials (50lb max), non-material handling; continuous standing, walking, bending, stooping and reaching; frequent pushing, pulling and squatting
