We're also an accredited Chest Pain Center and Level III trauma center. -Position Summary:The clinical dietitian collaborates with members of the health care team to provide medical nutrition therapy. - They identify patients at nutritional risk based on hospital policy then assess their nutritional needs and identify nutrient requirements according to the patients' age and disease specific needs. - The clinical dietitian develops and implements the nutrition care plan for all assigned patients and fosters continuity of care among all phases across the continuum of care. - Continuously evaluates and monitors the effectiveness and outcomes of medical nutrition therapy interventions. - They also provide nutrition education to patients and family members on appropriate food selections and eating behaviors to accomplish their patients' goals. - The clinical dietitian also participates in performance improvement activities, acts as a resource for dietetic technicians, and mentors dietetics students.Required Qualifications:

• Must be licensed -dietitian with the Ohio Medical Board.
• Bachelor's degree in dietetics or related field.
• Registered dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetic.
• Must be able to move about hospital and between workstations.
• Must be able to understand directions, communicate and respond to inquiries.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
